Browser recommendations when booking tickets on the Internet
SecurityThe Internet booking is activated inside the window as a new session (iFrame). The connection is always encrypted (https://) even if the Boka tåg-address is shown in the address field. All data given when booking tickets on Boka tåg are sent encrypted over the Internet.
Connection:
- Speed: At least 56 kbit/s.
- The modem speed is not always the actual capacity. It also depends on the capacity in the local telecommunication net.

- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, valid for both PC and MacIntosh.
- Netscape 6.0 or later, valid for both PC and MacIntosh.
Changes in browser configurations or high security configurations in the firewall could affect the Internet booking performance. Restore default configurations by choosing ”Tools/Internet Options/Advanced” if you experience problems when booking.
Inactivity more than 15 min will automatically restart the booking procedure from step 1
